What is the safest way to enter a parking spot?
When you finally find that perfect parking spot, you should always drive your car in forwards. That way, you're always looking ahead of you, you can scan the area around and you can look at other adjacent cars to see if there's anybody sitting in the cars before you exit. Once you have parked, you can open your doors, safe in the knowledge that you are going to be visible to traffic approaching from the rear. If you reverse into the space then your doors are going to obscure you from the traffic. Parking in this fashion is more practical at night as well, your headlights will provide adequate illumination and you will be able to maneuver safely.
