How is shaving a part of a person's style?

Instead of decoration, having a beautiful shaving stand with matching brush and razor is something that really fits into the decor and enhances the décor. It says something about you. Anyone who walks into your bathroom will notice it. It's the first place where it starts; in the home. For yourself, physically, when you are going around with a close shave or a smooth shave you look better versus having a little stubble. If you have a little stubble you know you have it so you're very conscious of that. You have just got to be cool and collected. Having that cool, clean, close shave gives it extra insurance. You just walk around knowing that you look good. That's important.

What can a bald head say about a person?

It is a statement and sometimes it is a necessity. Bald face, shaving the head, could be a statement and sometimes it is just a must. Guys today will start losing their hair and then you have a choice. Are you going to wear a toupee? I don't think so. A lot of guys don't go for the toupee. Are you going to have that half bald head with the hair growing and the little front longer to go over? That is also very 70's, right? 80's: your grandfather maybe did that. I think the way the young guys are dealing with going bald is, "If you are going bald let's just go bald all the way." and it becomes a fashion statement. I would say that a lot of guys look very good with a bald head. I find it very sexy and very erotic.

What can a goatee or sideburns say about a person?

As for the goatee or the sideburns, I think that's definitely a fashion statement and it says something - you are the one who wants to look cool. If you grow your beard just like a two or three day shadow, that doesn't look good on everyone, but when it looks good on you it definitely makes a difference and you have the Brad Pitt look. Some guys can wear that and look pretty sexy. I think at the end of the day that's all it comes down to. It comes down to looking good and being sexy.

What do you think about the 5 o'clock shadow look?

There's two things in that. The 5 o'clock shadow is one thing, and the Brad Pitt look is another thing. The Brad Pitt look is like a two or three days beard that has also been trimmed, and is a lot of work to keep it up. You know, it looks like oh God, it looks so easy you could just let it go and then you'll look good. No, there's a lot of maintenance going in that. The 5 o'clock shadow is a lot of men's nightmare. I'll say, like for my husband, for example, he used to have a 5 o'clock shadow by 12 o'clock in the afternoon. He was a teacher, and he would come home, and he wanted to be lovey dovey, and I was like "That's out of the question. You go and shave. I'm not dealing with the 5 o'clock shadow." And I'm sure I'm not the only woman that way.

Is a clean shaven face attractive?

There is something very enduring. It's like, for example with my husband when he has that close shave, I just want to be all over him and just kiss him because it's just like so soft, smooth, and so cute. He's like a little kid, and like a fifteen year old. When he has stubble and wants to be like a salt 'n' pepper, I'm like 'no'.

Does a clean shaven face make you appear younger?

I think it takes years off your face, and what's interesting about it, it's not so much because of a clean shave, a close shave, but when you do shave well, not only do you get that close shave and clean shave, but it really clears out all your complexion, so you do look younger, with a clear complexion.
