Surgery Rehabilitation

How can physical rehabilitation improve my mobility following a surgery?

If you've had any type of a surgery and afterwards you find that you have any physical mobility limitations or still have pain from the surgery, you should employ a physical therapist to take you through a physical rehabilitation. A physical therapist can evaluate what type of a surgery you had, if this has caused you any permanent or temprary anatomical change and they can then restore function or teach you a comensatory technique for improved mobility through physical rehabilitation. A physical therapist, if you're primarily having pain, can evaluate where you're having pain, what's causing the pain and then use certain modalities to help you with the pain, such as e-stem, hot packs or icing or ultrasound.
