Does the hairpiece need constant maintenance?
Hairpieces need sometime hair aid. Because it is human hair and human hair tends to break. So I would assume every 6 months you need hair aid into the system. And also the hair gets lighter in time because human hair gets lighter in color. So you might need a color to do to the system.
Can I use hair products in my hairpiece?
Yeah, I would recommend you use good products on your Hairpiece. You know, you going to spend that kind of money, you don't want to use bad product on this hair system because it'is human hair and you want to treat it with the best product. You don't want to by something from the market that has lead or alcohol. You have to try to stay away from alcohol products and your hair will stay nice and shiney.
Can I color my hairpiece?
Will my hairpiece frizz?
Well your hairpiece could frizz if you are using a blow dryer, flat iron on it, if you are using a lot of alcohol product on your hair. Because it is human hair and if you abuse it, it is going to frizz.
How often do I have to cut my actual hair to match the hairpiece?
To match the hairpiece to your actual hair, every four to five weeks you have to come back and get your hair done. Because hair grows about an inch in a month and you want to make sure that your living hair is not longer than the hairpiece on your head, so I would recommend four to six weeks, just like a regular time for a haircut.
How do I keep my hairpiece nice and shiny?
We have product that makes the hair shiny. The product is basically what makes the hair shiny because if you don't put any product it is just going to be like your own hair. So there is a lot of product out there.
Is it OK if my hairpiece sheds?
It's ok if your Hairpiece starts shedding six months later, but if it starts shedding two weeks after you get it, there's something wrong with the piece. It's probably made cheaply. Hair does shed, there's no system that never sheds, because it's human hair, and human hair tends to break, so if you do get a system that sheds in two weeks, you have to return it, because the system is not made correctly. But, if after six months it starts shedding, we do add hair into them, so we fill up the empty spots.
