What are wedding cake 'dowels'?

Cake dowels are the structure of tiered or stacked wedding cakes. They get placed in between each layer to hold up the next layer so that the cake doesn't fall apart on itself.

What are wedding cake 'pillars'?

Wedding cake pillars separate the tiers of the cake. Typically, in between the pillars are some fresh flowers or royal icing flowers that decorate and enhance the cake.

What are wedding cake 'tiers'?

Wedding cake tiers are sections of your cake, typically between three to seven, and they can either be stacked or separated.

What are wedding cake 'accessories'?

Wedding cake accessories include the fountain, the stand that the cake will be on, or cake toppers, tiers, and cutters. Sometimes these items are included in the price of the wedding cake, but often they're not.

What is a 'stacked' wedding cake?

Stacked cakes are tiers of cakes placed one on top of each other making an entire unit.

What are cake 'separators'?

Cake separators are plates that are placed in between each cake on top of a dowel, assuring the structure of the cake so that it doesn't fall down.
