We show you how to make whipped cream icing, which is a combination of buttercream and whipped cream.
200g icing sugar
Pinch of salt
1/3 cup whipping cream
1 tsp pure vanilla essence
Add to your mixer 120g butter. Then add 200g of icing sugar. Turn on the mixer at low speed first as you don’t want icing sugar going everywhere. Mix it all together until it’s well incorporated.
Add a pinch of salt. Turn the mixer off once the buttercream sticks to the side of the bowl. Scrape down the edges of the buttercream then add in the whipping cream.
Add the pure vanilla essence and mix it all together. You may need to scrape the bowl several times to make sure it’s incorporated.
As it’s incorporated, light and fluffy, you’re done. And that’s how to make whipped cream icing.
