Dr Nick Barratt obtained a PhD in history from King's College London in 1996, and in the same year began working for the Public Records Office (later TNA) before moving to the BBC as in-house specialist researcher. He has worked on a number of BAFTA Award winning programmes about history and more recently the BBC’s ‘Who Do You Think You Are’ PhD Dr Nick Barratt is a passionate genealogist and loves all things historical, genealogy, personal heritage and family histories.
