About Dr. Charles Sophy
Aside from his private practice, Dr. Charles Sophy serves as the Medical Director for the Los Angeles County Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS), the nation's largest Foster Care Operation. As Medical Director, he is responsible for directing the physical and mental health, as well as ensuring the safety, of over 40,000 foster care children. In both capacities, Dr. Sophy has dedicated his life to the physical and mental well-being of children and families from all walks of life.
