I am the director of an Identity Theft web site (www.IdentityTheft.info) and am an Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist (CITRMS). My goal is to increase public awareness about identity theft and related crimes like: phishing, botnets, cyber crime, and mortgage fraud.
Many victims of identity theft are children and seniors because their breached credit may not be detected for long periods of time. These types of despicable identity theft acts are particularly irksome to me).
I am interested in promoting public awareness about identity theft related topics. Additionally, I would like to see congress enact legislation that protects consumer’s privacy and reduces their risk of exposure to identity theft related crimes.
