The organization is now involved in a campaign devoted to raising awareness about the 119,000 children in this country waiting for adoptive homes and has been honored by the Congressional Coalition on Adoption. Ms. Perry currently serves on the board of the North American Council on Adoptable Children and is the mother of two adopted children.
