Gallstones

Gallstones are small stones made up of cholesterol or bile that form within the gallbladder. They vary in size and can be as small as pebbles or as large as golf balls. They are caused when bile isn’t circulating well through the gallbladder and are treated only when the stones are causing discomfort to a patient.
