Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted bacterium that can cause infertility in women and chronic pelvic pain if not treated. Normally those with gonorrhea do not show symptoms so it is important to always wear a condom and practice safe sex as it is most commonly transmitted through bodily secretions. However if you do contract gonorrhea it can simply be treated with antibiotics.
