Herpes and Genital Warts

Herpes is an infection thats caused by the herpes simplex virus that lives in the nerve roots. Herpes can cause cold sores or a genital type infection. Herpes is a treatable but not curable virus so once you get it you have it for life. You can prevent getting herpes through having safe sex every time, but unfortunately condoms don’t always protect from herpes. The best way is to limit the number of sexual partners you have.
