Prescribing Heroin

Heroin addicts have caused crime rates to increase in many areas of the world. While some countries lock up users, others are taking highly controversial measures and legally prescribing heroin to users. Drug Researcher Michael Jourdan, from the Centre of Alcohol and Drug Research in Copenhagen Demark, explains why harm reduction methods are being implemented and why there is still a great deal we dont know about heroin addiction and treatment.
