David Kessler authored The Needs of the Dying and worked closely with world-renowned author and psychiatrist Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, who was the first to propose to the world the five stages of grief. Before her death in 2004, they also co-authored two internationally recognized books, On Grief and Grieving and Life Lessons, which have helped people understand death and the meaning of life.
Mr. Kessler is currently the director of Palliative care for Citrus Valley Health Partners and Hospice and works with physicians, nurses, social workers, therapists, non-profit organizations and support groups across the nation.
