About Allyn Lyon :
Allyn Lyon began studying meditation and Buddhism in the 1970s, and began teaching in the Shambhala Buddhist tradition. Her long career has led her to teach meditation in Asia, North America, and South America. In 2000 she was appointed as an Acharya, or senior teacher. She is currently based in Mexico, and continues to conduct workshops all over the world.
