Name: Chris Trondsen
Job: Recovering from Body Dysmorphic Disorder
Summary: Chris Trondsen is a survivor. For more than sixteen years, he was haunted by a distorted self-image and depression, from a serious psychiatric condition called Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD). When Chris looked in the mirror he saw a monster, not the attractive young man he was. In BDD the defects aren’t real, but the pain is. Chris shares his struggle, how he worked through treatment, broke free and reclaimed his life.
