Ive been watching these excellent videos for a while now, and found the "Dealing with an ex" useful in some of its content.
But here my problem resides in that I truly wish to speak to my ex and apologize, amongst other things, but not explicitly ask for them to come back.
I have given her time, tried to ask politely at various times, and attempted to communicate in other ways, but I am completely ignored or even brushed aside violently.
I do have my part in this, since I made some serious mistakes and insulted her, probably worsening the situation after the break up. She broke up with me without explaining why or answering anything. I had been loyal, and probably could have won her back, but instead of doing so made some grave errors in the immediate aftermath.
I am now trying just to ask politely for pardon.

A girl, who is a friend in our group of friends, was very flirtatious with me. I surprised myself and her by asking her out on a date. We are very different in physical appearance, height, ethnicity, background and even political leanings. I think I was looking for something different than my last relationship but did I go too far?
