Does anyone know how to shred that daikon radish into shreds like they're showing? I had a crab salad at the best sushi place and they used that imatation crab that was shredded just like this daikon radish . I thought they used those cellophane noodles with the crab and maybe some type of vinegar (probably rice wine vinegar) but I'm guessing it might have been a shredded daikon instead of noodles.

Of course it's called an "On The Rocks" margarita.

most recipes I've seen use All-Purpose flour.

To make icing for these: take 2 cups of powdered suger, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 4-6 teaspoons of milk (always add your liquid a little at a time) and mix together until creamy and easy to spread. Try using orange juice instead of milk for a different taste treat.
Paula Deen has a recipe that uses:
4 tablespoons butter, 2 cups of powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 3 to 6 tablespoons of hot water adding a tbsp at a time and spreading on rolls after they've cooled a bit. I guess you could substitute maple flavoring for the vanilla in this recipe, if you wanted.

So, I guess the cook is a student of Karate or some other form of Martial Arts? I too found the video to be a bit annoying and could see where some might find it offensive but I'm taking a broader approach and just think she's showing off her "kata" LOL. Also, agree that no need to add butter if the right oil and rice is cold. I've also never fried the egg first, just break it into the frying rice and stir fried it and it will cook up perfectly.

In the US, and I'm sure elsewhere, 5 Spice is the NAME of a pre-package spice that has 5 different ingredients that others have listed here. Check out your spice section at your store and look for "5 Spice" spice.

A lady that came from Ireland to visit us long ago, showed me this same recipe. I figure it's a British/Irish thing? After reading the comments above, I just wanted to add that here in the States, if you dip the bread in an egg/cinnamon mixture, it's called French Toast. Then you either sprinkle with powdered sugar or pancake syrup.
