How To Learn The Basics Of Sailboating

Learning how to sail isn't hard if you're near water, since chances are there will be a sailing school near you. Our local school is the California Yacht Club, which sails with four-person Martin M242 boats every week. We met up with two members of the club, support boat specialist Mike George (he did the water shots for Baywatch for 13 years!), and Pease Glaser, a former sailor for the U.S. team. Leah finds out about the different components of a sail boat, how to raise a sail, and even how to sail against the wind. Join her by watching today's episode!
