How To Make Coconut Rice

This is a South Indian recipe for coconut rice. Fried coconut and cashewnuts are added to boiled rice and garnished with ghee and coriander leaves. The ingredients include 400grams biryani rice, 120grams coconut, 40ml ghee, 25grams black gram dahl, 25grams broken pieces of nuts, 6grams dry chillies, 2 grams curryleaves, 2.
5grams asafoetida powder, 20grams minced coriander leaves, and salt to taste. To make this recipes you need to boil the riceand keep this aside. Fry the coconut evenly to a golden color on a slow fire.
Heat three dessert spoons og ghee and fry the cashew nuts and remove. Fry the broken pieces of dry chillies, black gram dahl, and curry leaves. Mix with the rice, coconut, nuts, one teaspoon of ghee and salt.
Serve the recipe garnished with coriander leaves.
